This is a free iOS and Android app version of the web-based Scratch site. Scratch Jr uses drag and drop “block” code to allow students to create their own interactive stories and games. ScratchJr is geared towards younger students but older students who are just learning to code will enjoy it as well. ScratchJr has a great website with lots of ideas for teachers and students, as well as “how to” information.

ScratchJr is available in multiple languages including French, Spanish, German, and Chinese.
