The Foos is a bright, cartoon like coding game, where students use drag and drop code to solve challenges. The Foos can be used by pre-readers as the code is icon-based, not word-based. Each challenge can be solved a number of ways, with the best way earning you three stars. The stars can be used later to buy new characters and unlock free levels. The Foos website includes curriculum plans as well as offline activities and a “foorum” for parents and teachers. The Foos is on Hour of Code. It can also be played on a browser or installed on iPads or Android devices.
